The Play space is designed with the belief that children thrive best when given the freedom to imagine and create.
Our space is filled with a curated selection of ambiguous materials. From versatile items like rope, fabric, pillows, and blocks to innovative products from Nugget, Superspace, and Imagination Playground.

TRUE IMAGINATIVE PLAY
Imaginative play is all about letting children create and explore their own worlds through make-believe.
It’s when kids use their imaginations to transform everyday objects into something magical—like turning a cardboard box into a castle, a stick into a sword, or random Lego pieces into a spaceship.
It works best when the items the children are working with do not already have a job, or at least not “one” job.
For example, a toy firetruck is just that… but a red block could be a toy fire truck; but also a chunk of meat, a brick, or a piece of treasure.
That’s why everything in our space is multipurpose and dependent on your imagination!

ABOUT THE SPACE
1. Food & Snacks are not provided at the space.
2. Shoes will come off in our entryway, and socks must be worn. If you forget socks, don’t worry - we’ll have extras here for you!
3. Unless it is a caregiver participation session, adults are asked to drop off and go. We are close to many awesome places for self-care, eating, and drinking!
4. As seasoned childcare providers, we at Playsticity know that public washrooms can be intimidating. While one of our washrooms is full handicap-accessible, the other is designed to be kid-friendly. The toilet is shorter, has a quiet flush, and has the option of a smaller toilet seat.
5. Your timed session starts when the session starts, not when you arrive.
6. Please be on-time for pick up! Life happens, and we know that well. Please give us a call if you will be late. We will do our best to be flexible, but an additional fee or membership suspension may occur for repeat incidences.
7. True play is inherently risky, and risky play is essential for growth. We encourage children to try new things and test their boundaries. Please refer to our extensive liability waiver when booking for more details.
8. Behaviours are complicated. Our team has spent many years working with children, and we know that every behaviour communicates a need. However, we are committed to offering a safe space for all. If your child’s behaviours are causing distress to any other participants or staff, action will be taken. Please refer to our behaviour agreement when booking for more information.

DROP-IN, ANYTIME! OPEN TO CHILDREN AGES 0- 12 YEARS OLD
PRESCHOOL: AGES 3-5
Supervised free play. Children aged 3-5y may attend independently, but must be potty trained.
PRIMARY: AGES 5-9
Supervised free play. Children aged 5-9y may attend independently.
INTERMEDIATE: AGES 8-12
Supervised free play. Children aged 8-12y may attend independently.
DATE NIGHTS: AGES 5-12
Supervised free play. Children aged 5-12y may attend independently.
BIRTHDAY PARTY OR EVENT (PUBLIC)
Must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.
2 hour minimum booking.
Up to 4-8 kids (aged 4-12) can attend as a group.
One Play Leader will be assigned to supervise them
The space will be used by other kids at the same time.
No party adults may attend, for safety reasons.
BIRTHDAY PARTY OR EVENT (PRIVATE)
Must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.
2 hour minimum booking.
Up to 8-24 kids (aged 4-12) can attend as a group.
Up to 3 Play Leaders will be assigned to them,
The space is private.
Up to 3 party adults may attend..

BOOKING & HOURS
Every child is required to have their own account for booking.
Up to 2 children can share a package or membership when booking.
Late cancellation policy: This will be in effect once the space opens. More details to come.
We plan to be open 7 days a week! Drop-in sessions run from 9am-8pm.
We will be offering 4- 5 play sessions per day, each session will be a 1-2 hour time slot. Stay tuned for the full schedule!

1 hour to 2 hour time slots available for free play. Book up to a week in advance or last minute!
Booking limitations: Max. 2hrs per day and 40hrs per month, but no limits per week!
